Just guarantee you have a plan in advance so you can be out living it up in an exotic place rather of being holed up in the hotel space. There is the Great Barrier Reef and Golden sandy beaches, and who could forget Uluru (Ayers rock) and the remarkable wilderness. It is surrounded by nationwide parks, and consists of lots of bays, rivers and inlets. I 'd try Dee Why as the beach and cafes are excellent.
